Mesh network
What is a Mesh network?
There are different network configurations for connecting devices. Among the most common are Peer to peer (used in Bluetooth) and Star Network (used in cellular or Wi-Fi networks), but the topology Deitres uses to connect its products is the one known as “mesh Network”.
The main feature of a Mesh network is that every device connected to it, in addition to performing the function it was designed for, acts as a smart repeater for the other devices/nodes. It is a non-hierarchical topology, since any device can interact with any other. This type of topology means that if a node or path fails, communication can take another path.
If a node suffers a power or internet outage, a new optimal path is chosen automatically and intelligently so messages can be relayed through other devices that still have a connection. This makes this type of network extremely robust and secure.

Everything goes through a hub
Each device depends on an antenna or a router, as with cellular or Wi-Fi. If the hub fails or is out of reach, the device is cut off.
All to all
Each device relays its neighbors' messages. The network extends itself and, if one path fails, the information takes another.

D-Transceiver
The heart of every product
The D-Transceiver ® is Deitres' OEM transceiver. We began developing it in 2014, as a joint development with Microchip, one of the world's leading microcontroller manufacturers, and with support from Argentina's Ministry of Science and Technology.
In 2017 we completed development and stopped importing communication modules: since then, all of our products use 100% proprietary radio technology. This versatile module lets us leverage the most valuable parts of our experience across all of our solutions.
